Staff Project: Cabled Tank Top in Sirdar Jewelspun Aran

Black Sheep Helen has knitted a cable tank top in the stripey hues of Sirdar Jewelspun Aran. She has strayed from her favourite shade of green for this knit. We think the blues / purples / green of shade - Midnight Sapphire looks fab on her! A tank top is so versatile to wear, it looks especially stylish worn with a crisp white shirt. How did you find the pattern? Did you make any adjustments? 
The pattern is good. I made the front and back the same length. That makes it more wearable for me, rather than the longer length back on the pattern. I am pleased with the fit of the finished garment and like the way the square shoulders fall nicely.
I used circular needles around the arms and sides.

Have you used this yarn before? How did you find it?
No, I never used it before this project. It’s a nice yarn to work with and feels very woolly considering it is 100% acrylic yarn!

Would you recommend the pattern to someone else? Would you make it again?
