Scheepjes Skies Assortment Boxes

Scheepjes have just re-stocked their very wonderful Skies assortment boxes and we now have them available online! There are two boxes to choose from, either the Skies Light or Skies Heavy. Skies Light is a 4ply ish yarn and the Skies Heavy is an aran ish yarn. As Sara describes in the video below the tension does not fit exactly to standard yarn weights. Named after clouds, the yarn is dyed with Indigo, creating variations of blue and green. You will find 9 mini hanks snuggled together, wrapped in tissue paper with a fun sticker to seal. If you are beginning to think of a Christmas gift for yarny friends then this would be gratefully received. I know I would be quite happy to receive one of these boxes of treats.

This is a great resource for any Scheepjes yarn. We have highlighted the two assortment boxes to show you the patterns available.

If you have fallen head over heels with the Skies yarn after sampling the yarn in the assortment box, then you might want to buy a full size hank. Find 100g hanks in Light and Heavy with all of the same shades available as you find in the boxes. It could even be a nice idea for a project to pick out one shade as the main colour and use the mini hanks as contrast.
