Introducing the 'Season’s Greetings Festive Stocking' designed exclusively for Black Sheep Wools by the Queen of beaded knitting Debbie Abrahams. I am honestly in love with this project. The yarn is incredible, the beads are a joy to use and each technique is simple but so effective. Debbie has done such an amazing job.
You can either buy a kit for this project which includes three balls of
Rowan Alpaca Soft in traditional festive shades, printed pattern and three shades of Debbie’s own glass beads for just £39.99, the paper pattern individually for £5.99, or the digital copy for £4.00. With very simple Fair Isle and beadwork you will easily create a family heirloom.
The stocking is knitted flat and seamed up the back making it really easy to knit. The pattern also uses three different techniques to add beads and there are beautifully explained videos from Debbie Abrahams for each of these. Plus I have already made a stocking (I couldn’t resist) and have written
hints and tips to help you on your way.
