[Description][It’s time to round off our 40th birthday celebrations with a fab pair of cheeky socks designed by sock supremo, Winwick Mum. Featuring a naughty extra black sheep who can be placed anywhere on the socks, there are a brilliant project if you want to try fair isle and duplicate stitch (swiss darning) without having to commit to a large garment.
If you are new to socks don’t worry. The pattern is incredibly comprehensive, Christine really does explain every step beautifully. Constructed as top down socks with a heel flap and gusset; the heel is knitted in Heel Stitch which creates a durable, cushioned fabric. The pattern gives options for four different sizes and the length of the sock is easily adjusted for any foot. Your first time doing fair-isle? There are both written instructions and charts, making it so easy to follow.
Fair isle instructions are given as both written instructions and charts.
