Beginners Tunisian Crochet Workshop with tutor, Marianne from Penny Stitch Craft
Friday 18th July 2025 | 10.15am - 4.15pm
"Have you been crocheting for a while and want to try something new to you? Has Tunisian crochet been something that intrigued you but you didn't know where to start?
It is a combination of knitting and crochet put together that create wonderful plump fabrics, ideal for snuggly projects to keep you warm.
This workshop is aimed at you, we will go through the techniques of this style of crochet , starting with the basics using Tunisian simple stitch, full stitch, purl & knit stitch, moving onto ways to create different textures.
You will develop your understanding of the Tunisian crochet abbreviations and we will look at the similarities and differences with Knitting and crochet, and also explore the charts and symbols to help you understand them.
We will provide - Hooks, yarn and instruction sheets
You will need to bring - scissors, stitch markers notebook and pen.
There are 10 places on this workshop.
What's Included?
- Yarn, Tunisian hook, refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day.
- A special 10% discount is also included. This can be used once in store, exclusions include workshops, gift cards, tea shop and colour packs.
