Also requires 3.5mm crochet hook, fine needle and sewing thread, knitter’s sewing needle, locking stitch marker.
This pattern makes at least 10 beaded Christmas stars.
[Description][Celestial Star has been designed by Jane Crowfoot exclusively for Black Sheep Wools in our 40th Birthday year. Jane says
"I love Christmas and really enjoy decorating my home in the lead up to the festive season so when Sara asked me if I was up for designing a beaded crochet decoration to celebrate Black Sheep Wool’s 40th birthday I was more than happy!
My favourite festive decorations are those I put on my Christmas tree, and I especially love the way some of them reflect the fairy lights or allow me to see through them to other parts of the tree, so I created a star with an open centre and beaded detail which I hope will make a lovely addition to your Yuletide décor.
My stars are double sided, but you could add a fabric or felt backing so that you can create more from your yarn and beads. Instead of making decorations for the tree you could maybe use them to create some bunting or add them as a special detail on your festive gift wrap. In whichever way you choose to use this pattern I hope you enjoy making these little crochet stars as much as I enjoyed designing them.
