The Grace blanket started life in 2014 as a prize for a charity raffle made by Anita from madebyanita .
"I’d never intended to write a pattern for it but had so many requests, I finally released the pattern a year later. It’s had a few revisions since then, but still contains all of the original step by step photographs and diagrams.
The theme for the raffle was pink, so the original colourway has shades of pink and
raspberry. The new colourway uses all the same shades, with the exception of the
raspberry which has been swapped for duck egg. Details for both colourways can be found at the beginning of the pattern.
I now have a granddaughter called Grace, so this pattern is even more special to me. It has been downloaded thousands of times and made by crocheters all over the world and I am delighted that you are making your own Grace blanket too."
